This little guy “swung” by for photos yesterday. At 7 months old, he was SO active! It was only appropriate that I had a cute monkey setup for him. Not only because his Dad likes monkeys, but because Baby “Z” is about as agile as one! He was crawling all over the place and climbing everywhere. We did get him still for a few shots and look how cute!!

And here is “Z” in his “Pastor Rob” shirt. At least that’s what his parents tell me. I bet Pastor Rob will be flattered!

Meet the “L” family. Not only are they cute, but super sweet as well!

It was a perfect day for a walk in the park.

This is their youngest….she is so sweet. I just love her spirit!

Towards the end of the session, I brought out a gumball machine. I’m sure mom and dad thought I was nuts but the kids sure loved it!

How many gumballs do you have?

3…and guess where they went? That’s right, straight in her mouth! Check out that cute gumball smile.

And last but not least, love the emotion of this one.

What words come to mind when you think about the ideal father?

Strong?

Fun?

Someone you can look up to?

Gentle?

Loving?

…those are a just a few words that may come to mind.

This Father’s Day, I want to pay tribute not only to my own Dad who is all of the above, but to all the fathers out there. You might not think you are perfect, but in your child’s eyes, you’re pretty darn close.

Above you saw some of the fathers I’ve had the privilege of photographing this past year. These dads were willing to not only be great fathers, but they were willing to take the time and effort to give their families the gift of a lifetime….quality time and photographs. These images are sure to be treasured by their children forever. So, to all you dads out there–Happy Father’s Day.
