I met up with this fun family at a local park. The fall leaves are just about gone this season but we did manage to find some beautiful spots. But really, who needs the leaves when you can find such sweet sunlight? I just love how darling the 3 girls looked…almost as if the sun reached down to kiss them with its light.

Thank you, “W” family for working with me. I really enjoyed getting to know your family!

High school sweethearts Anna and Patrick drove here from Wisconsin to get their engagement portraits taken. This is the second time I have photographed Anna & Patrick, although the first was separately when they were graduating from high school! That’s right, I photographed both of their Senior portraits a few years ago. You can imagine how honored I felt when they chose me to photograph their wedding and engagements!

The session started out cloudy with some sprinkles but we waited a minute and the sun decided to peek out. I like to think it was just for them. Such a sunny couple themselves, they surely deserved it. I don’t choose to photograph many weddings but I will be capturing their special day next summer and I can’t wait!

This lovely family purchased a portrait package of mine that was donated to a school auction. I love working with families in the community who love to give back.

Who would have ever thought that long sleeves in October (in MN) would be way too hot? Kudos to the kids especially here for toughing it out in long sleeves and sweaters in the 80 degree weather!

Thanks, “H” family for working with me and for coming out on this beautiful (yet hot) day! I really enjoyed meeting you!

I met up with Jessica and her Mom on yet another gorgeous, yet windy October day. Jessica chose a very special place for her senior photos. A peaceful place with pink blooms, well manicured gardens, and a friendly face — her Grandmother. Her Grandmother’s garden was so beautiful and nicely maintained — the perfect spot for beautiful portraits.

Jessica plans on attending college in Wisconsin next year where she will major in Criminology. I am sure she will do fantastic. Best of luck in all you do, Jessica!
